Black ‘n’ white sampler progress….


The last time when I showed you this sampler I’d finished the outer border and started working on the diagonal lines.

                                                     
 
                                      
I've completed the diagonal lines and before I started to fill the diamonds/squares I've stitched all the four corner triangles… 

                                        


I’m really enjoying working on this sampler and in fact it reduces my stress level J

  5. this is going to be lovely when finished Anita, I agree blackwork is relaxing, well I find hand stitching so much more soothing, machine work seems to make me tense.

  6. Lovely blackwork ! What a lovely idea to make a sampler , and using different stitches is going to make it look beautiful. Can`t wait to see it when it`s complete.

    this is beautiful work....
    yes I wld be interested in another sal ....cld you do something different...like phulkari embroidery...like completely embroidered and you don't see the fabric at all....
    no matter which embroidery project you choose...I will participate....appreciate and thank you for the inspiration....
    I did the chikan embroidery too...made 2 guest towels...will send pics soon....
