Goldwork

Hi !
Today I’d like to show y’all a gold work, Indian version……

I’ve stitched this on my salwar kameez.
I’ve got to go….finish my stitching, only then I’ll have time to e-mail the designs to all the chikan embroidery SAL participants this weekend.
Bye for now…
Happy stitching!
Anita.

  1. Very beautiful, I always struggle when stitching with metallic threads so when I see it well done I appreciate the time and effort it took.

  4. This is very exciting work, thank you! I love getting into the jewel side of it, along with the metallic thread. Just lovely to see.

I did away with the word verif. ages ago, since blogger improved their spamcatcher significantly, and have really had no problems, other than checking the spamfile now and then.

  5. Since I posted, an Indian friend dropped in to visit, and when I told her about this blog entry she asked for a link. She's looking forward to seeing your work, too. She also explained to me what a salwar kameez (?) is, since I wasn't sure. So this is the salwar part?
