needle nook

Last week was pretty crazy for me ,spent most of my time book keeping and writing instructions for a couple of my old favorite projects. But I was able to complete my needle nook project from inspirations magazine amidst all the chaos :)

It's a cute little design ,isn't it? I would like to have a small project preferably surface embroidery in between bigger projects with lots of details. What about you, do you always have a fun little project in your WIP basket like me?

Happy stitching!
Anita.

  2. In spite of working hard with paper work you find time to relax and produce such wonderful stitches.
I love the look of your flowers; the electric blue and sharp pink...wow!
I have some smaller UFOs but they remain UFOs. I now have two major WIPs. If I have a smaller project in between it is usually a birthday card or something that just has to be made and made NOW. They never turn into UFOs or WIPs.
It is MY turn to be drowned in paper work...

  4. Anita the first word that popped into my brain EZQUISITE. This really is truly a work of art.
No little projects on the go with me at the moment, playing with learning the patchwork, doing lots of different blocks to see how they are made.

  7. I always try to have only one project. I stitch only at the end of the day, so having WIP (even if they are small) makes me feel guilty of not giving them importance.
I did many small WIPs, when I embroidered the saree. But that is past, currently 1 project at a time.

  9. Anita your design, complementary colours and execution of work are Fabulous to say the least.

My family projects are almost done and then I'll be back to WIPs and TAST catchups.

  10. Thank you all.
@ Ina - I guess I'll turn it into a square table mat.

@Maureen- The design is not mine Maureen. It's a Barbara Jackson's design from Inspirations.

  13. Sorry for the late reply to your information above, Anita.
I have to say the design is lovely but often it is the execution that makes or breaks the outcome.

    Your outcome is beautiful.
