I'd
like to share a very simple but pretty stitch called 'magic blanket
stitch' with y'all.
This
stitch is also known as blanket stitch-lightening.
Step
– 1 : Thread the needle with two color threads and come up at 'a'.
Make a blanket stitch with color A under the needle as shown.
Step
– 2 : Make a second blanket stitch with color B under the needle as
shown.
Repeat
step 2 but alternating the threads A and B until end.
It
looks like closed blanket stitch, isn't it?
Hope
you like this stitch tutorial.
Happy
stitching!
Anita

That really IS magic. It looks like a stitch done once with green and then with orange. How clever to be able to do it in one go. And the result is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this variation, thanks for sharing this! And thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog.
