Happy
thanks giving to all my American friends!
Now
that I have absolutely no pain in the wrist while holding tiny
embroidery needles I'm spending more time doing embroidery and
sewing. So I guess I'll be blogging regularly from now on :-)
I've
made a couple of chikan embroidery motifs on a cotton dress.

But I don't see any notice and also don't remember about the cookies. Please let me know if you know how to fix this if you'd figured it out already.
Happy stitching!

Lovely to see you back! I love all embroidery, but especially whitework (and Chikan!).
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that you're free from pain and well now.Chikan work looks good. Nothing on the neck part?
ReplyDeleteso good that you are able to stitch free from pain again, your motifs for a dress are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteRe the cookies thing I did not understand it eith so have just deleated it hope I am not in trouble there fault they should explain more clearly
The motif is beautiful. I have seen this notice in my dashboard. But i didn't understand what it is. Is anything serious about it?
ReplyDeleteLovely white work !!
ReplyDeleteI guess blogger automatically added the notice to our blogs unless you made any changes to the blog. It is a regular pop up notice about the cookies on the top that you might have seen on some of the sites. You need to ask any European blogger friend to check if they can see the notice when they open your blog. If they can, then I guess we need to do nothing. One of my blogger friends confirmed that she can view on my blog.
When I come to the blog, a small banner opens at the top saying that cookies are used, but disappears again as I scroll down.
ReplyDeleteI love your whitework - very dainty!
Thanks Joey,Shami,Margaret,Deepa,Preeti and Rachel
ReplyDelete@ Deepa - No embroidery on the neck line Deepa because the dress will have a smocked yoke.
ReplyDelete@ Shami - I don't know about this notification Shami and honestly I don't remember what stuff I'd used.
ReplyDelete@ Preeti - Thanks Preeti for the clarification.I was worried about the third party stuff because I honestly don't remember whether I'd used any.
So glad your wrist is better and you can stitch again. Your chikan motifs are beautiful. Such even shadow work stitches!
ReplyDeleteBoth samples of your whitework are really lovely. Will you show your dress when finished? :-)
ReplyDeleteVery good news that your wrist is good enough again, to stitch. You must have missed that.
Lovely stitching and embroidery, Anita. About the google announcement --- I have no idea - I leave everything how it is - I can see pop-ups
ReplyDeleteOn my blog, on other blogs, too. So I think everything is ok.
