I wondered if you cut out the design and sewed it to the dress or is the dress somehow framed up. I have a frame a needles and want to know morel thanks for the lively artistic work! Katie

I frame the entire dress fabric and do the embroidery most of the time.I've shown the entire fabric (green one) required for that dress framed in those aari posts . If it's only on a yoke or part of an evening gown then I do it as an appliqué.Hope this helps.
