Floral lace

I haven't been here for the past few weeks because of some personal issues.I've lots to catch up now ... hope I'll be able to do that this week end.
I'd like to show you a lace cutwork doily I'd finished recently but started this one last year I guess (!).

Can you guess how much time I'd have spent to do the cutwork part alone?
Looking forward to hear from you...

Happy stitching!
Anita

your doily is a delight, can imagine you carefully cutting it out, have done one 36" square tablecloth but that is all, the cutting out made me so nervous so worried I would cut into my stitching.

Good to see you back blogging, hope all is well again.

Este bordado é o chamado "richelieu"?Ficou lindo!
Você é sempre um exemplo para mim: um pouquinho todo dia e consegue fazer grandes coisas! Parabéns!
Levou 1 ano para terminar este?
Um abraço!
Egléa

This embroidery is called "Richelieu?" It was beautiful!
You are always an example for me: a little bit every day and can do great things! Congratulations!
It took one year to finish this?
Hugs!

This doily is superb! You need a great deal of patience to embroider something like this, don't you?

Thanks a lot Shami,Margaret,Egléa,Emi and Ina.

@ Ina-You are right, lots of patience is needed to do this. Though I have some practice doing this kind of work I'm always nervous while cutting away the fabric...

Your work is lovely, I imagine that it would take many hours to complete all the delicate work, you have made a fantastic job!
