Fifth year...
Today
this blog is entering fifth year and I just popped in to thank y'all
for your support and love.
I
can't sign off without showing an embroidered piece today so here it
is..
A
small purse with shisha embroidery.
The
ground fabric is muga silk and I've used both cotton and silk threads
for the embroidery.
Happy
stitching!

Daisy border
Hi !
I've been working on a saree for the
past few weeks , completed the entire border (approximately 10 mts)
except the flower center as of now.
I couldn't decide whether to do french
knots or shisha for the center so this saree will be be sitting in a
corner for a while until I decide…
Here is another wip.....
Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy stitching!
Anita.

Small bag
Hi !
I was kind of busy with diwali celebrations for the past few
days and now it’s over am back to stitching…
I’d like to show y’all a small bag which I’d made some time
back for my mother.
The fabric is silk, the threads are stranded cotton, silk and
metallic. Also I'd used mirrors, sequins and seed beads.
I’m busy with a goldwork project which I’ll be sharing with
y’all soon, so watch this space. Some of the basic preparations are done but am
afraid a couple of things might not work out, let’s see what happens when I
reach there.
Happy stitching!

Shisha mirror embroidery
Hi !
I’d like to share the images of my shisha embroidery cover and a WIP which is for my class later this year with y’all.
Actually it’s a straight line but it looks wavy because of the wind and my photography skill J .
WIP
Which one do you prefer, monochromatic or multi colour one?
Happy stitching!
Anita.
