Bunnies in the garden

I was thinking about starting a small project after I finished 'needle nook' because the Iris will be a WISP and I wanted to work with some colors because of the whitework WIP's.

I'm very happy to show you all my bunnies in the garden…

The fabric is linen and the threads are Anchor stranded cotton. So far I've finished the fruits, some leaves, little sand and grass part. The fruits and leaves are so tiny ,1-3 mm in size.I chose to fill both the fruits and leaves with satin stitch.

I can't wait to stitch the bunnies, they are so cute..aren't they? I've already decided to fill them and not just do the outline.Hope it'll work :)

Happy stitching!
Anita.

This is so cute! Are you going to make the bunnies furry? That would make a nice contrast with the smooth fruits. Looking forward to seeing more......

What a cute picture and the scene is very seasonal; better get those apples off the trees before there is more snow! (I am talking about Japan!)
The small stitch is very intricate but you have done a wonderful job.
Have fun playing with your bunnies!
