Stitch tutorial - Magic blanket stitch

I'd like to share a very simple but pretty stitch called 'magic blanket stitch' with y'all.
This stitch is also known as blanket stitch-lightening.

Step – 1 : Thread the needle with two color threads and come up at 'a'. Make a blanket stitch with color A under the needle as shown.

Step – 2 : Make a second blanket stitch with color B under the needle as shown.

Repeat step 2 but alternating the threads A and B until end.

It looks like closed blanket stitch, isn't it?
Hope you like this stitch tutorial.

Happy stitching!
Anita

I'll be adding some to the round robin I'm working on. I've made the magic chain but this is really different.

I'm looking forward to any more you may have. Thanks for sharing.

That really IS magic. It looks like a stitch done once with green and then with orange. How clever to be able to do it in one go. And the result is just lovely!
