little progress...

a new weaving sampler in progress...

made some pleating swatches..planning to turn these into a block or a pillow

added some tiny seed stitches in the stylized horse project..

mystery x stitch progress...
I had stopped teaching art full time four years back and after thinking a lot about my friend's suggestion (who comes to my studio for open classes)I've now decided to offer 1-2 hours open embroidery classes once a week from mid June – mid August. Hope everything goes well during those 2 months..

Happy stitching!

Wow! 4 interesting projects on the go. I like the patterning of the weave work.
The white project looks great so far and the partial of the horse ..intriguing.
The printed pattern is coming to life with your threads.

All the very best for your new classes.

Good for you to share your love of embroidery with others in your classes. 1 - 2 hour classes sounds like an excellent idea!

Lovely projects...I also tried hand weaving few days back and I just loved it. Here is it http://littlethoughtful.blogspot.in/2015/04/an-experiement-on-hand-weaving.html
I'm thinking of getting a hand weaving loom and do it more often :)

Oh.. so many varied projects in the same time. I missed many posts of your blog for sometime and having good time seeing them all together :-)

It is a wonderful idea (IMHO) to teach art.
Hope it all works well for you.
