coaster

a beautiful coaster..

I'm afraid someone will spill something over this coaster when I use..So I'm thinking of either putting it away in a drawer or frame or come up with some other idea :-)

Happy stitching!

There are glass or plastic coasters with space for embroidered inserts...

I would be worried as well, you could frame it on a black background better than putting in a drawer never to be seen again

The coaster is lovely. Would it work on a cushion? small purse? I'm sure you will come up with something good.

yes this is certainly to be seen and admired but not used as a coaster you ust have it out on display and not away in a drawer

It is beautiful, yes, and will be safer on a wall or somewhere, where drinks are not around. It wouldn't be safe in my family.

It's very pretty, Anita. Maybe you could put it under glass? That might keep it safe. Shame to hide it away in a drawer.

That is lovely! There are some acrylic front-and-back coaster frames made by craft-supply companies, designed to hold handwork. I think they are small circles, though, 3-4" in diameter, and that looks like an oval - maybe between two pieces of glass? If you embroidered it as a coaster, it would be nice to use it as a coaster, but even if no one ever spills anything, the heat from a cup or the condensed water on the outside of a cold glass could mark it!

The link is just an example in case I haven't described the acrylic protector very well - I've never ordered from this company and just did a quick web-search.
