Wip - Stole

I was always fascinated by handloom fabrics and one of my wishes was to learn the art of weaving someday. I'm so happy that I was able to do that this year.
After learning the basics from a master weaver my friend and I decided to weave a stole.

Close up of the pattern..

There are a couple of mistakes and some tension issues but I will work harder to get it correct...

I was really worried whether I'll be able to remember all the math and get the pattern correct but after few hours of weaving I'm in a happy place..

looks beautiful. the only weaving i've done was on a hand made loom....very simple, but very enjoyable.

The pattern you have chosen for your stole is lovely. The colours also.

I'm glad you are enjoying the new to you craft. You will be an expert before you know it.

I understand the principles, it's just preparing the warp that makes my mind boggle...

So glad you are enjoying the weaving, though!
