Stitch tutorial - Laced running stitch variation

I'd like to share another variation of laced running stitch with y'all.
It's a simple yet beautiful stitch and one of my favorite CQ seam treatment.

Step 1 – Work three rows of aligned running stitches.

Step 2 – Thread the needle with a second colour and come up near the bottom of the first running stitch column as shown.

Step 3 - Pass the needle and thread under all the three stitches without piercing the fabric as shown and pull the needle.

Step 4 – Pick up a small stitch in the space between two columns as shown and pull the needle.

Step 5 – Pass the needle and thread through the next column of stitches from the top and pull the needle.

Step 6 - Pick up a small stitch in the space between two columns as shown and pull the needle.

Repeat steps 3,4,5 and 6 until end.

                                    Happy stitching!
